Purpose
AEROFENCE
HELPS PROTECT THE LUNGS FROM POLLUTED AIR AND FINE DUST PARTICLES
The AEROFENCE herbal extract complex
• protects the mucous membranes of the respiratory system from irritation caused by PM
• creates a protective layer on the lung mucosa
• helps expand the bronchi and makes breathing easier
• thins accumulated mucus and has an expectorant effect
• supports the strengthening of lung tissue
Pulmonaria officinalis (Bear pit) is used for coughs, bronchitis and asthma, due to its expectorant properties. It contains mucus, which soothes irritated mucous membranes, and flavonoids, tannins and rosmarinic acid, which reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract. It is also rich in quercetin and kaempferol, which have been proven effective against oxidative stress. Supports kidney function and fluid balance, promotes urination and detoxification of the body.
Plantago (Plantago) has expectorant and soothing properties, helping to relieve coughs, bronchitis and upper respiratory tract infections. It contains mucus that coats and soothes mucous membranes. It is rich in phenolic compounds and vitamin C, and the iridoid glycosides (e.g. aucubin) and phenolic acids in it have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. The allantoin in Plantago stimulates cell growth, while the polysaccharides support tissue repair.
Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) is rich in flavonoids, phenolic acids, vitamins C and A. It contains the powerful compounds against bacteria, fungi and viruses thymol and carvacrol, useful for respiratory infections, sore throats and skin diseases. It loosens mucus and relieves coughs, bronchitis and congestion due to its expectorant and bronchodilator effects. Thymol and flavonoids reduce inflammation of the airways and protect cells from oxidative stress, reducing the risk of chronic diseases and supporting immune health. Carvacrol and rosmarinic acid inhibit inflammatory pathways and affect neurotransmitter activity. The herb reduces anxiety, improves mood and cognitive function.
Verbascum (Lopen) relieves coughs, bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory problems, thanks to its expectorant properties. It contains mucilage, which coats and soothes mucous membranes, and saponins, which help to expel mucus. Flavonoids, iridoid glycosides (e.g. aucubin) and phenolic compounds in the herb contribute to reducing inflammation in sore throats, joints and ear infections and repairing tissues. Verbascoside and other compounds in it have strong antimicrobial properties and soothe irritation. It promotes urine production and detoxification and reduces fluid retention.
Apigenin reduces inflammation in the lungs, which helps to manage conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or acute lung injury. Inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α) and signaling pathways (NF-κB) that promote inflammation in lung tissues. Protects lung cells from oxidative stress, which can contribute to lung damage in conditions such as COPD or pulmonary fibrosis, by scavenging free radicals and enhancing the activity of antioxidant enzymes (e.g., superoxide dismutase, catalase). Modulates calcium channels in smooth muscle cells, thereby reducing airway constriction and improving airflow. Apigenin induces apoptosis, inhibits lung cancer cell proliferation, and suppresses angiogenesis, making it a potential adjunct in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
